We gathered that an announcement on the deal will be made in a fortnight and StarTimes will also be part of the NNL Super Four in Abuja.
In a related development, the management of the Nigeria National League, NNL, has announced a sudden shift in date for the commencement of the Super Four Play offs.
The season-ending tournament is to determine over all champions in the abridged four division format of the League. It will feature Niger Tornadoes, Plateau United, Ikorodu United of Lagos and Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries FC, Lagos.
Secretary of the League body, Lawrence Katken said yesterday the Super Four will now kick off Friday November 27th through to Sunday 29th ,November,2015 this is against the earlier scheduled period of 18th -20th November,2015 in Abuja.
The reason, according to Katken, is to allow participating Clubs ample time to prepare for the Tournament.
“We received complaints from the clubs involved asking for an extended time to enable them get ready and we saw the need to oblige them, we planned to round off before the Annual general meeting (AGM) of the Nigeria Football Federation now holding in the month of December.’’
