17-year-old oozes attitude in stunning shots for music and fashion magazine Notion
LOOKING every bit the rock star Louisa Johnson wowed at her first photo shoot after being crowned X Factor champ.
Oozing attitude and a punk rock style she posed for alternative music and fashion mag, Notion.
Staring down the lens with a defiant look, Louisa clearly means business as she launches her pop career.
Jumper for joy ... 17-year-old could pocket £6million after winning show |
Wearing a fake fur lined bomber jacket, men’s tartan trousers and biker boots, she looks more like a Sex Pistol than a sex symbol.
In a teeny black bandeau top and chunky silver rings, this is also not the look of a diva, putting a stop to assumptions she will follow in the footsteps of ballad queens, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Leona Lewis.
Instead she looks young, fresh and edgy. With hardly any make up and loose, unstyled tresses she looks ready to take on the pop world on her own terms.
In an exclusive shoot for Notion online, this will be a big score for the mag that started in 2004 and proves that Louisa, at just 17-years-old, is being taken seriously by the big hitters in the fashion and pop worlds.
The teenager, who could be scoring up to £6million in endorsements alone after winning the 2015 talent show, also revealed that she would love to collaborate with her mentor, Rita Ora.
She told Notion that the best piece of advice the X Factor judge gave her was “Keep your head at the same level. Focus on yourself.”
When asked if the Forever Young singer will stay pals with her mentor, she said: “Definitely. I will definitely stay in touch with her.”
Also posing in a cute black and white jumper, the blonde singer looked like she was channelling ‘70s punk babe, Debbie Harry
It’s not known if she will be sounding like the Blondie singer though, as she admitted that “I’m young and I don’t really know which path I’m going to take yet, but I feel like I need to try some things out.
“If they don’t work, they don’t work. I wanna try things. I like loads of different types of music, so it will be cool to try different things and see what’s best for me.”
She also revealed that she would be up for collaborating with her How We Do (Party) pal Rita following their show-stopping X Factor final duet.
“We were talking about it,” she hinted. “I would love to work with her in the future.”
Talking about her time on the hit ITV series she said “Simon’s amazing at what he does and Nick is on radio and that’s going to help us promote our songs.
"Cheryl has been a performer, Rita is a performer, they all have their own individual way of dealing with things. Me and Rita really worked well together.”
Saying she’s not gonna let fame go to her head, the pop hopeful also insisted she won’t go looking for trolls either. She said that Rita also told her “Don’t read anything”.
“I reply to my fans and stuff, [but] don’t go looking for it.”
“You don’t need to. You don’t need to know what people say, don’t think about it.”
