The Ministers that President Buhari Knows Personally

President Buhari has nominated ministers for his second term almost two months after he was inaugurated.

A former Senator, Gbemisola Saraki and former deputy Governor, Pauline Tallen were also nominated in a list of 43 that was read by Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, during plenary on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the rapid development of Nigeria, insisting his policies were beyond ethnicity, religion and geographical lines.

He gave the assurance while receiving Sheikh Ahmed Tijjani Ibrahim Inyass, the Grand Khalifa of Tijjaniya, at the Presidential Villa.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in a statement said Buhari while acknowledging the overwhelming support of Nigerians and the confidence reposed on his administration, stated, ‘‘We are very pleased with the prayers and support of the Tijjaniya to this administration and I assure you our interest is for all Nigerians, across ethnicity and religion.
