PDP'S NEW CHAIRMAN: I won’t work with those behind crisis in PDP

The national chairman of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, Ali Sheriff, on Thursday said he would take the party’s campaign to grassroots but vowed not to work with those causing crisis in the party.

Sen. Ali-Modu Sherif on Monday in Abuja assumed office as National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and decried calls for his resignation by PDP Rescue Group.

Sheriff, in an interview with newsmen after he took over, said he was not going to resign his appointment as the chairman of the party.
